“Aplicativo **Flutter** desenvolvido para registrar e monitorar avistamentos de capivaras em ambientes urbanos (parques, lagos, margens de rios, ruas e praças), com persistência em nuvem via **Firebase** (Firestore, Storage, Auth), gerenciamento de estado com **Provider**, arquitetura **MVVM com Command Pattern** oficial do Flutter/Google e design minimalista integrando a mascote oficial do evento.”
GDG Campinas Coding Jam — Build Your Own Idea
Build the idea you have been planning. There is no topic this session.
The version everyone leaves with.
Write a one-paragraph description of what you are building before you start.
Things worth deciding early.
- 1Describe the application in three sentences. If you cannot, reduce the scope.
- 2Build one flow and one screen.
- 3Reuse approaches from earlier sessions.
What the at-home build adds.
- →An idea you have described to someone but have not started
- →A tool that solves a problem you have
- →A version of an application you use
- →An idea from an earlier session that you did not finish
Two tools. Two very different afternoons.
Neither is the beginner option. It comes down to what's already on your laptop, and whether you want a desktop IDE at all. Four questions, then bring the one that fits.
Already know which one you want?
What's on the laptop you'll bring?
Two hours, four movements.
- 0:00 – 0:15Intro
Grab a name tag and a slice, say hello to the instructor, and meet the people either side of you — you'll be asking them things later, so it pays to know their names now. Low pressure, high creativity, ship something messy. Then a quick word on what the room is building tonight, and you're off.
- 0:15 – 0:30Credits & setup
The instructor shares the Google Cloud credits with the room. Everyone gets their environment ready — whichever tool they brought. Nobody should be installing anything once the build starts.
- 0:30 – 1:35Build
Heads down, and enjoy it — this is the part everyone came for. The agent does the typing; you decide what it's making. Ask the room when you get stuck; someone two seats away hit the same wall ten minutes ago. Want more structure? The codelab walks the spec-driven route — Setup → Plan → Review → Build → API → Verify — but nobody has to follow it.
- 1:35 – 2:00Share & submit
Show the room what you made — two minutes, screen-shared from your seat. Half-finished is welcome; the wobbly ones are usually the most interesting. Say what surprised you along the way, and cheer for everyone else while you're at it. Then submit your build before you leave. This is the one thing not to skip — it's what puts your name and your chapter on the showcase, and it takes about two minutes.
11 builds.
Professional networking at tech conferences, GDG (Google Developer Groups) events, and meetups is often awkward, repetitive, and stiff. GDGLink gamifies the ice-breaking experience into an interactive, real-time 8-bit playground:
“Creating a game in 40 minutes was really impressive.”
A lightweight WebAR proof-of-concept application where users can see their mirrored live webcam stream, toggle a facial landmark mesh, and draw in real time. The drawn strokes will bind to the user's 3D facial geometry, maintaining spatial depth and perspective as the user turns, tilts, or makes facial expressions.
“Creating custom face filters for platforms like Instagram typically requires specialized 3D software (Blender, Spark AR Studio) and technical knowledge of UV unwrapping and 3D rigging. There is no lightweight, interactive way for creators to test or sketch directly on their own dynamic face in real time.”
GDG Compitas is a mobile onboarding app for newcomers to Google Developer Groups. It does two things: first, it uses Gemini to generate personalized learning roadmaps — you pick your level and goal (learn AI, understand organizer roles, run your first event, find sponsors…) and Compi builds a step-by-step path with official Google resources like Firebase, Flutter, ML Kit, and Codelabs. Second, it has an interactive events map where organizers publish their meetups by city and anyone can discover
“I thought building the app would be the hard part and publishing it would be one click. It was the opposite, the app flowed, and I almost got stuck on a billing screen. Turns out "free" was hiding behind the button that wasn't the obvious one.”
Codelab Compass helps GDG organizers plan a workshop without starting from a blank page. Answer six questions — audience level, topics, time available, machines, goal, start time — and you get a full agenda: timed blocks, an official Google codelab for each one, and a file ready for your calendar (.ics, Google Calendar, Markdown). Two rules: no session over 2 hours, no block over 45 minutes. One HTML file, no build. It works without AI; with Gemini it also writes facilitator notes.
“The best decision was the boring one: making it work without AI. Mid-test, Gemini returned a 503. The app didn't break — it built the agenda with its own rules and kept going. I assumed it was my API key. It was Google running out of capacity for that model. Connecting a model is easy. Deciding what happens when it doesn't answer is the real work.”

ArtSphere brings together all art lovers around the world to learn and explore different works of art in the most popular museums worldwide. Choose you interest and let’s explore and enjoy
“I was surprised how easy it was given that I’m not very familiar with coding it was super fun to use.”

“Gerou o site de maneira rápida e com qualidade, com apenas 2 prompts simples”
“Nada a dizer”
It's the building blocks for the future of product recommendations. Users complete a quick body-profile questionnaire to generate a customizable 3D mannequin, view estimated measurements, explore clothing options, and receive size recommendations from a sample garment catalog. It is designed to make online shopping feel more personal by showing how body shape and fit preferences affect garment selection.
“Great team. Great experience.”
